Hi! My name is Eliane and I’m 31 years old.
I’m from Brazil but living in Victoria BC – Canada. I have been a blogger since I was 12 years old. I saw when everything started on the internet and I followed closely the growth of several Brazilians bloggers.
I followed a different profession and became a Front-End Developer. I studied Social Communication / Advertising and Publicity at Unip college in Campinas, São Paulo, for three years, but I had to give up the college to live in Canada with my husband.
I like everything that is related to art. I like to paint drawing books, to sew dolls’ clothes, to enamel nails, among others. In college, I had more contact with video editing and magazine layout and it was very cool to be involved in. I speak Portuguese and I’m learning English.
I’ve been employed as front end developer in Campinas, SP (Brazil) since 2008. I have knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite software such as Photoshop, InDesign and Illustrator. I usually design with Photoshop, develop with strict standards HTML5 and CSS.
During my career, I worked on a wide variety of websites working on all aspects of projects, from initial meetings with clients, team meetings, to prototyping and design, front-end development and back-end coding with WordPress. I also visited exhibitions, fairs and conferences in Brazil. I am available to learn what I have never done either.
